##  Mission 

The Harvard College Summer Funding and Study Abroad Office (SFSAO) advances the transformative power of a Harvard College education by providing students with opportunities to pursue semester and summer study abroad as well as providing funding support for summer internships, research, and study abroad. The office is guided by the institutional focus on international education as reflected by the [Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs](https://vpia.harvard.edu/), the academic goals and standards established by the [Office of Undergraduate Education](https://oue.fas.harvard.edu/), and a commitment to productive collaboration and partnership with academic departments, area centers, and other advising offices to fund and support undergraduate summer opportunities in research, internships, and study abroad.
